Topicort is a medication belonging to the family of medications known as topical corticosteroids. It is used for the relief of various skin conditions, including rashes. It helps to reduce redness, itching, and irritation. There are two brand name products:

• Topicort® Emollient Cream(desoximetasone) 0.25%
• Topicort® LP Emollient Cream (desoximetasone) 0.05%

Topicort® (desoximetasone) Emollient Cream 0.25% and Topicort® LP (desoximetasone) Emollient Cream 0.05% both contain the active synthetic corticosteroid desoximetasone. The topical corticosteroids constitute a class of primarily synthetic steroids used as anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic agents.
