- Conference call, in telecommunications, is referred to as a "multi-party call".
- A conference room is a place where conferences are held.
- International conference, in politics, a multilateral diplomatic negotiation or a Party conference
- In Christianity, a conference is a series of meetings to discuss topics related to the church.
- A Methodist or Catholic Conference is a formal meeting of church leaders.
