Transplantation could refer to any of the following:
- In medicine, organ transplant refers to the replacement of a defective organ in a body with one from another body.
- In agriculture. transplantation refers to the process of uprooting plants from one location and planting them elsewhere. This is usually done in paddy fields to reduce the amount of water and other resources required in the initial stages, and to weed off unhealthy plants early, thus increasing the yields.

With over 30,000 participants, the ESC Congress is the world's biggest cardiology meeting. When a patient is diagnosed with metastatic disease the primary site of the cancer is usually, but not always, evident. When the origin of the cancer is not identified it is described as a Cancer of Unknown Primary site, or CUP. Each year in the UK over 10,000 people are diagnosed with CUP. This is a higher incidence than known cancers such as pancreatic, ovarian, uterine, kidney, brain, cervical or blood (leukaemia) cancers.
